What a fantastic start to the new term!
The children have settled beautifully into Teddies and have been very busy exploring the Pre School room, learning where everything belongs and becoming familiar with our daily routines.
We have also been making the most of the garden. The children have enjoyed spending time in our mud kitchen and using our large outdoor scales to weigh and compare different objects.
Inside, we have been using bears to compare sizes and ten frames to help us count how many we have. These activities have encouraged lots of lovely mathematical language and problem-solving.
The children are already beginning to make new friends and are getting to know the names of their key workers and other familiar adults in the room.
We are really looking forward to getting to know all of the children even more over the coming weeks.
Next week, our Learning Adventure will be All About Me, where we will begin exploring what makes each child special, their feelings, their families and the things that are important to them.
We are so proud of how well everyone has settled in and we are looking forward to a lovely term ahead in Teddies.
