The Teddies
Our Teddies room (Pre-School) has been carefully designed to provide the best experiences for our children. We are passionate about getting this right and have invested time in developing each area with every stage of development in mind. At this age, children are finding their ‘feet,’ seeking both independence and support. Each day, our activities are engaging and challenging while also offering familiarity. Children often enjoy imaginative play, using objects to represent real-life experiences. To nurture this, we respect their play by leaving resources out for extended periods—allowing their creativity to evolve naturally, whether it’s a carefully built tower or a cosy bed made for their baby dolls.
Outdoor learning and play are integral to our Pre-School environment. We encourage exploration beyond the classroom, where children can engage in active learning through gardening, den-building, and outdoor role-play. These activities foster problem-solving, resilience, and independence while promoting physical development and well-being.
Active learning and the desire to explore new experiences are at the heart of our approach. We motivate children to try new things and embrace challenges, helping them develop a sense of achievement and the perseverance to keep trying. Praise and recognition are key to building self-esteem, ensuring every child feels valued and supported in their journey of discovery.
